Keep all learners in schools
Der IB in Neuenhagen hat im September 2023 ein neues europäisches Projekt zur Prävention von frühzeitigem Schulabbruch mit Partnern aus Norwegen Prios, Spanien Colegio Córdoba, Rumänien Asociatia Edulifelong und Bulgarien ValueMe begonnen. Das Vorhaben trägt den Namen "Keep all learners in schools", oder kurz: KALIS.
Das bis August 2026 andauernde Projekt zielt darauf ab, innovative und ganzheitliche Ansätze zur Vermeidung von frühzeitigem Schulabbruch zu entwickeln. Dabei sollen den gefährdeten Schüler*innen sowie Eltern, Lehrkräften und der Schulleitung praktische Hilfsmittel und Materialien zur Prävention von Schulabbrüchen an die Hand gegeben werden.
Die Projektpartner werden unter anderem ein Warnsystem in Echtzeit für potenziell gefährdete Schüler*innen entwickeln. Dieses dient zur besseren Beobachtung der persönlichen Entwicklung des jungen Menschen für alle an diesem Entwicklungsprozess beteiligten Personen.
Auch wird ein Lernspiel für junge Schüler*innen erstellt, welches spielerisch lebensnahe Szenarien aufzeigt und diese durchspielen lässt. Schließlich soll das Projekt auch die Entwicklung einer Präventionsstrategie für Schulen zur Verhinderung von Schulabbrüchen sowie einen Strategiebericht für Entscheidungsträger*innen anregen.
Das Projekt wird mit Mitteln des Erasmus+ Programms für Schulbildung der Europäischen Union gefördert. Alle erstellten Produkte und Ressourcen werden auf einer europäischen Lernplattform frei verfügbar gemacht werden.

In September 2023, the IB in Neuenhagen started a new European project to prevent early school leaving with partners from Norway Prios, Spain Colegio Córdoba, Romania Asociatia Edulifelong and Bulgaria ValueMe. The project is called 'Keep all learners in schools', or KALIS for short.
The project, which will run until August 2026, aims to develop innovative and holistic approaches to prevent early school leaving. The aim is to provide at-risk pupils, parents, teachers and school management with practical tools and materials to prevent early school leaving.
Among other things, the project partners will develop a real-time warning system for potentially at-risk pupils. This will serve to better monitor the personal development of the young person for all those involved in this development process.
An educational game will also be created for young pupils, which will playfully demonstrate real-life scenarios and allow them to act them out. Finally, the project will also stimulate the development of a prevention strategy for schools to prevent early school leaving and a strategy report for decision-makers.
The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme for Education of the European Union. All products and resources created will be made freely available on a European learning platform.
